Hott Shot Challenge Scorers app for iPhone and iPad

Hott Shot Challenge contests are local events. Monies raised benefit the local communities.

This app is designed to speed up play. Each player is scored via the app downloaded to a smart device. As the players make shots from the designated areas on the court the score keeper app will tally the made baskets and then send the results directly to the database.

The Hott Shot Challenge Tournaments are timed events where each participant is allowed to attempt as many shots as they can in a specific amount of time. All made shots will be counted as long as the player was on the shooters mat (circle) at the time the shot was attempted.

The player begins at the free throw line (within the circle). Then, the player can shoot from any of the designated areas on the court. The player must rebound their own basketball. One foot must be in the circle when the shot was attempted to be awarded the points. The player can land with both feet outside the circle after the shot has been attempted. The player will NOT be awarded any points if they start from outside one of the circles. Points are only awarded if the player starts with at least 1 foot in the circle.
There are 6 designated spots on the court to score points. All Hott Shot Challenge Tournaments follow the same rules. Top players are entered into the Hott Shot Challenge “Hall of Fame”.

The Hott Shot Challenge Scorers App automatically scores the event and updates the player’s results in the database where they can be viewed in real time.
